Nurse Practitioner


Provides medical assessment of children and vulnerable adults referred for concerns of sexual abuse, severe physical abuse, and/or witness to violence. This includes neutral, fact-finding, age-appropriate interviews, specialized exams, and related testing, treatment, and follow-up. Performs forensic medical-legal exams of pediatric, adolescent, and adult patients presenting for acute care. The position also involves working with a multi-disciplinary response team, court testimony, as required, and providing training to others as needed. Training in performing evidentiary examinations with colposcopic documentation and forensic interviewing will be provided.

Actively participates in multidisciplinary team meetings, writes evaluation reports and testifies in civil, criminal, family and juvenile court proceedings.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner licenseā€¢3 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Unimpeachable ethics
